We are looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering team at an award-winning company in Bolton. The company are a market leader in their field of electronic devices and are currently Europe's largest manufacturer of these products to the advertising industry.

They have just moved to impressive new headquarters in Bolton; this is an on-site role, so applicants need to be comfortable with commuting there daily.

Working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the primary purpose of the role will be to produce production test strategies and specifications to support new electronic products, modules and assemblies. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years' experience in a similar position within the manufacturing sector with knowledge of electronic test and automated systems.

Main Responsibilities:
Produce production test strategies
Design appropriate test equipment for PCBA, sub-assemblies, modules and final assembly
Specify necessary parts, assemble and validate test equipment.
Assist with product builds
Provide documentation for test strategy, specifications and instructions

Skills / Experience required:
Experience in the manufacturing test of electronic, electrical and mechanical products
Solid understanding of electronic principles
Experience of debugging electronic circuits
Experience of CAD viewing software
Basic coding skills (Desirable)
Good written and communication skills
