**Overview**:
This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative and project support to Investment and Development managers in all aspects of their Council portfolio property projects. This will involve supporting the preparation and monitoring of project documentation, including project briefs, budgets and internal governance reporting processes with chances to carry out ad hoc tasks on a project-by-project basis.

**About us**:
The Property and Assets Team cover the whole of the Council’s portfolio from Buckingham to Burnham and beyond The Investment and Development Team are a small group of 10 looking at maximising the use and efficiency of our estate through acquiring income-making investments and by developing surplus estate.
- The focus for the team is on Property Projects of a wide ranging nature.
- We work closely as a team supporting each other and sharing knowledge
- The work is extremely varied meaning that there is no “average day in the office”.

**About the role**:

- The role is key to the progression of projects to enable clear team targets to be met.
- Some elements of the job are process driven but others require initiative and a dynamic and proactive approach.
- For those looking to progress into a Project Management role in the future, there are opportunities to shadow and be mentored by more senior managers in the team.

**Any-Desk**:
As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.

**About you**:
We are looking for a highly organised and dependable person who is happy to work with different people at different times but who is also a self-starter who doesn’t have to be micromanaged once a task is set. Good administrative skills are essential and a can do attitude to ad hoc tasks would be preferred. Property experience in some form would be beneficial but not essential. A knowledge of Council processes would be handy but can be taught. We have a wide variety of work styles and personalities within the team so an adaptable nature would be appreciated.

The team are currently working from home but collaborating in the office in Aylesbury 1-2 times a week based on business need.
