**The Role: Care Assistant**

As a Care Assistant at Hilltree Court, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities
- Personal care - showering, dressing, continence care, administering medication, mealtime supports,
- Support individuals living with dementia, Parkinson’s, mobility issues, hearing impairments, sight impairments,
- Waitressing within restaurant
- Domestic duties within apartments and communal
- Laundry service washing drying ironing and returning.
- Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet residents' individual needs
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and empathy

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a care or support role is advantageous
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
- Ability to work effectively within a team and on an individual basis

**Salary**: £11.96 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- UK health and social care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ L2 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent (preferred)
