**Outskirts Maidstone (own transport essential)**

**£26k-32k DOE**

**7am - 4pm Monday to Friday**

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Storeman/Storesperson** to join a rapidly expanding Engineering company based on the **outskirts of Maidstone**. This role requires an **Engineering background,** with a meticulous attention to detail; the position has the opportunity to grow long term for the right person

Duties are varied but include:

- **Managing all stock** including but not limited to **consumables, engineering components, PPE,** end to end ensuring supply meets demand as well as having responsibility for **stock value control**:

- **Raising orders, all associated administration**and ensuring timely delivery
- Using your experience to suggest and implement **stock control software** to create reports and monitor stock replenishment as required as per ISO9001:2015 standards
- **Booking in deliveries** including organised communication internally
- Supporting the implementation of effective H&S process
- All inventory and stock associated **reporting**:

- 'Hands on’ management of stores
- Be an experienced **Stores professional** with a background in**Engineering**:

- Ideally have some sort of **Engineering qualification**, (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Be ambitious with excellent **IT skills**:

- **Good experience using MRP/ERP systems**:

- Have a laid back and calm personality, able to keep your cool in **pressured environments**:

- Use your initiative in order to improve processes
- Be looking for a **long term** opportunity
- Be happy to work in an **industrial factory environment**
