**Job Description** The Role**

Do you like the sound of working in a foundry that is integral to the operation of one of the largest integrated and diversified providers of rolling stock and infrastructure solutions and technologies for the global rail industry?

Joining us as an operative an increasing skill level as training is given to get you fully up to speed.

Training to be provided in various job activities within the foundry.

**A day in the life of a Foundry Operative **
- Topping
- Core making
- Moulding
- Fettling
- Melting
- Casting
- Weights
- Ensure all safety training is undertaken and understood before commencing any job
- Ensure quality standards are met

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list.
**Qualifications** Essential**
- Previous experience of working in manufacturing or labouring role
- Knowledge of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality regulations
- Reliable
- Team player
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure to deadlines and targets
- Excellent attention to detail

**Desirable**
- Prior experience of Foundry processes desirable but not essential

**Salary**: £22,408 (£25,103 after probation)
