A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Company Secretary to join a private equity backed Real Estate firm in a key role which will add a huge amount of value to the business. They portfolio company have offices across London, Poland, Germany, Spain andFrance and this role will entail hybrid-working between home and their offices in either London Bridge or Picadilly.
You can look forward to joining an extremely entrepreneurial business who are flying, and now need an experienced Company Secretary to bring them in line
**The role**:
The successful Company Secretary will work alongside the CFO and Chairman to bring the business to life as a fully functioning TopCo with best-in-class reporting, systems and governance. This role will be responsible for rolling out the new governance framework,the creation of the group reports (in liaison with local management) and creating a centralised contracts database.
Post roll-out, the Chairman is keen for the Company Secretary to get involved in other key aspects of the business, particularly ESG. The BAU elements of this role will include:

- Company house filings
- Keeping the ‘Group’ legal
- Taking minutes and action plans at all board and committee meetings
- Assist with the preparation of board packs (at both Rafter and subsidiary level)
- Distribution of the board packs for pre-reading

**About you**:

- This role would really suit an experienced Company Secretary who would relish the opportunity to create and implement a new governance function
- A good understanding of Company Secretarial roles and responsibilities
- An understanding of the Real Estate/Construction sector would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, and someone confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Someone with a positive attitude who works well under pressure, you'll be an accomplished plate spinner who enjoys a fast-paced work environment

The individual will lead the implementation of a new suite of reporting, co-ordinating the financial and data collation of the business. This person will coordinate resources, and ensure the projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
