Are you interested in a secondment as a full time Assistant Psychologist working for the Priory Group at Priory Hospital Lincolnshire?

Priory Hospital Lincolnshire is a 28 bed low secure service with two wards, situated in the Gainsbough area of the Lincolnhsire county. It caters for male only patients detained under the mental health act who suffer from mental illness and related illness such as PD etc.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute and work within the Psychological Therapy department. As part of this service you will be supporting the consultation, supervision, assessment and formulation processes through providing file reviews and making contributions to risk assessment. Opportunities to deliver low intensity individual and group psychological interventions will be available, as well as neuropsychological assessment. You will also contribute to training, MDT reviews and Care Planning Approach meetings to help ensure the greatest impact on recovery and a positive client journey. You will also have involvement with helping the team to continue improving its practice by providing good, co-ordinated, structured clinical care whilst maintaining staff well-being through supporting the delivery of psychological care.

Good honours degree in Psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) is necessary.

Further postgraduate training in relevant areas of professional psychology, mental health practice and / or research is desirable, but not essential.
