**Hours: 12.5 Hours per week, Term** **Time Only**:

- This position is contracted on a Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to students and will not need to work during the school holidays, unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for 37 out of 52 weeks._

Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual who can provide care for our students? If so, Cheadle Hulme High School has the perfect opportunity for you.

You will provide targeted intervention and support to students who struggle to manage their behaviour and/or approach to learning in class, and work collaboratively with pastoral teams across the school to meet the needs of these students.

**Job Purpose **_**(For further details on the role, please see the Job Description via TES)**_
- Support identified students within the classroom environment, within small group situations and on a one to one basis
- Work with teachers to enhance student progress, whilst also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion

**Key Skills & Experience**
- Experience of working with young people who are vulnerable and/or who have special educational needs is essential
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent would be highly advantageous
