**Main duties and responsibilities**

**Operational Responsibilities**

1 Assist in the identification of additional and potential opportunities with the customer, reporting upwards as required.

2 Full operational ownership across the shift to ensure full agreed service delivery.

3 Management and supervision of allocated MHE to include, but not limited to, before use checks, defect reporting etc.

4 Management of the allocation of storage availability within area of responsibility.

5 Ensuring that customer complaints are resolved in the most efficient manner.

6 Within the context of responsibilities set by management, on a day-to-day basis, assign tasks, monitor performance and support the team as necessary.

7 Support management with resource planning and management, eg implement agreed processes to review performance, monitor absence and sickness and address issues within clear guidelines.

8 Process forecasted volume, align forecasted volume with resource plan and respond to or escalate issues within clear guidelines to ensure adequate resource is available to support the planned forecast.

9 Ensuring great relations and communications with the wider team members and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers.

12 Communicate Roles & Responsibilities applicable to your team ensuring they are trained and prepared to carry out the required activities.

13 Work together with Line Manager and HR to drive engagement building a wellness culture within the site.

14 Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop a positive progressive culture within the business.

15 Manage all aspects of effective management and supervision, training & development and employee relations of the wider team.

16 Working with the Operations Manager help create a succession plan and talent agenda at the site by providing recommendations on direct reports as appropriate.

17 Conduct weekly meetings with subordinates to include the dissemination of Company messages through departmental managers.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

18 Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, the company handbook, Quality standards and all other company policies and procedures.

19 Analyse and understand health and safety related risks for your staff and take action to reduce or eliminate these risks according to a prioritised plan.

20 Take operational ownership for Health & Safety Committee meetings and ensure key information is shared with Line manager, colleagues and key stakeholders. Ensure actions completed as appropriate.

22 Report and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non-compliance to safety regulations and procedures.

23 Responsible for the effective supervision of health, safety & welfare for the wider.

**Quality Responsibilities**

24 Implement and supervise the adherence of up to date processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures and associated forms to achieve prescribed outputs.

25 Driving continuous improvement quarter-on-quarter based on removing barriers to improved performance for the department where necessary.

26 Track the operational shift’s performance, understanding deviations with the team and support them with necessary resources.

27 Understand the root causes of performance results and set actions with Team and Line Manager for improving the results.

28 Support, comply and ensure complicity with the company’s Quality Policy Document and its objectives of delivering a profitable and unrivalled quality service admired by competitors.

29 Track overall employee attendance ratio for the operation and understand results' impact on Site Performance.

21 Track site overall inventory accuracy and allowance.

You will from time to time be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature

as reasonably required by your line manager. You are required to follow all ATL

policies and procedures at all times and take account of ATL guidance
