Our client is currently looking for a Workshop Assistant to join their small and well-functioning team on a temporary basis to support their operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Have a high focus on safety and work in accordance with HSE regulations at all

times and willing to take part in the internal safety system.
- General maintenance of tools including redressing, repairing and modifying

non-conforming equipment.
- Preferably be proficient in the use of multi-meters and other basic instruments.
- Preferably be proficient in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and

processes.
- Maintain records and communications as required by Company procedures.
- Drive forklift (training will be given if required)
- Must have a flexible approach to working overtime and at short notice.
- Maintain a clean and tidy premise, including the external areas.
- Assist Logistics with dispatch demands and stores, including deliveries and

collections
- Ensure stock records are accurate and carry out stock checks as required.
- Move parts/equipment into position manually or with hoists or cranes.

**Experience Required**
- Experience in a mechanical environment and experience in a similar role in the O&G industry
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems would be advantageous
- Background with downhole tools would be advantageous
- Working under pressure
- UK Drivers Licence
- IT proficiency
