**Tasks**:
- Safe and timely unloading: Inbound freight should be accurately and safely unloaded in a timely manner
- Quality control: All freight should be checked to ensure the quantity and quality of goods received is to expectation and matches the purchase order / delivery note.
- Goods put away: Goods are moved to the appropriate storage areas for storage.
- Booking on: Goods are booked in using the warehouse management system
- Works order printing: Works orders are held and allocated in priority order by the warehouse management system
- Works order preparation: The correct raw materials are identified and checked; these are taken to the appropriate machine. The machine is set to the correct configuration for raw material entry.
- Works order processing, board cutting: Raw materials are fed through the cutting machines as per the operating instructions, all finished articles are removed quality checked and stored in the correct quantities ready to move to the finishing stage.
- Dispatch Preparation: Completed articles receive a final check again the works order, these are then banded and or wrapped and palletised ready to be dispatched to the main warehouse
- Stock counts are completed to a high standard as per the yearly stock take schedule
- Return management: Returns are processed correctly, accurately and on time
- Stock handling: Stock is safely placed in the right location time in readiness for goods out processes
**Profile**:
- Continuously reviews all working practices and processes and proactively looks for and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement passing suggestions on to the Team Leader.
- Generating ideas: Always thinking outside of the box, how could the workplace be better / improved to increase safety, moral, productivity.
- Encouraging others: Actively encourages and supports team members to identify and implement continuous improvements.
- Support change: Actively support changes within production and support team members through change.
- Ideally you will have experience within a Production facility and understand workflows
- You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within a similar role and strong experience working with machinery
- You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines
- FLT licence desirable
