We are now recruiting for a **General Production Team Member** to join our busy **Manufacturing Department **in** North Sheilds**, working in the **Casting Department.**

**What's the role?**
- To operate our 2 casting machines - set up, shut down and filling process
- Operation of the rail tilt table
- Carry out mould changing process - bollards, bins, seats, rail etc.
- Be able to understand and check own quality
- You will be required to work as part of a team and also work solo when required
- Follow a daily operational plan and understand works orders
- Accurately complete job cards, paying particular attention to works order details, quantities, and only sign the quality check box if you are satisfied with the product quality you are delivering
- Verify the product you are manufacturing is correct
- Ensure Quality Standards and Health and Safety is adhered to We like you to use your initiative and challenge any manufacturing performance that may drive improvement

There will be opportunities to work within other areas of the site when required to cover colleagues’ holidays and absences.
You will be supporting the production of our extensive range of protective street furniture and counter-terrorism products. So if this gets you excited and you’re an enthusiastic team player with a willingness to succeed and develop new skills, we want to hear from you
