Climbing Instructor

Transition Extreme Sports Ltd is currently looking to recruit a number of Climbing Instructors either full or part time. Your role will ensure our customers have a safe and enjoyable visit and will involve instruction to climbers of all ages and abilities.

Reporting to the Climbing Wall Manager you will be responsible for assisting in the day to day running operations of the climbing wall, bouldering wall and ropes course, as well as providing climbing lessons ranging from fun climbing sessions for 5 year olds to teaching adults to belay and everything in between.

**As a minimum you will already be trained to CWI level, ready for assessment. CWI, CWDI, RCI, RCDI and any coaching awards are desirable.**

You will hold a valid first aid certificate and be a member of a mountaineering council.

Previous experience working in a climbing wall and/or providing coaching or instruction in sport is highly desirable. Experience of working with children in sport is desirable.

You will have excellent communication skills and be a team player with the ability to be flexible working across our range of opening hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Climbing Wall Supervision: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
