Cleaner

**Role Purpose**:As a Cleaning Operative, your main purpose is to provide a professional and comprehensive cleaning service that meets the expected standards required by Haringey Council. You will be responsible for various cleaning tasks, ensuring adherence to Haringey's health and safety measures.

**Main Responsibilities**:
Carry out general cleaning tasks, including mopping, sweeping, dusting (both low and high levels), damp wiping, and buffing of surfaces.

Clean washrooms, including descaling of toilets, urinals, and showers.

Vacuum floors and soft furnishings, empty and clean waste bins, and dispose of waste properly.

Ensure a full understanding of designated duties, work areas, activities, and expected standards of performance.

Follow instructions from the Management Team and complete all cleaning duties to Haringey's satisfaction.

Maintain corporate monthly percentage scores for audits and associated paperwork.

**Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience**:

- Six months of experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Understanding of COSHH and relevant cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work in a team or independently with own initiative
- Knowledge of correct cleaning techniques and color coding
- Proficiency in English and basic math

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: £12.79 per hour
