Toolmaker

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Toolmaker to join a precision mould toolmakers and injection moulding company.

**As a Toolmaker, your duties will include -**
- Producing prototypes through to full production, as well as repair and modification of injection mould tools
- Carrying out day to day toolmaking activities, maintaining tooling availability
- Assisting with new tooling requirements and reviewing and improving existing tooling issues
- Working closely with Customers, providing tool designs and quotations

**We are keen to hear from any Toolmaker applicants who are -**
- Time served toolmakers with a strong technical knowledge of injection mould tools and general machining
- Competent in the use of manual and standard toolroom equipment (lathes, mills, surface grinders, cylindrical grinders)
- Able to read and understand to drawings and models in both 2D and 3D
- Capable of programming CNC (Rders) and EDM (Sodick)
- Able to use own initiative and be able to function within a small tooling team

- Flexible working hours, Monday - Friday (commonly 7:30am - 5pm)

Based in Buckinghamshire, this role is commutable from Watford, High Wycombe, Luton, Aylesbury and all surrounding areas.
