Male Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker required to assist a young man 18 years of age with a Learning Disability non verbal, living in the Hamilton area.

You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance at Motherwell College total supervision throughout the day.

Driver essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle - mileage allowance will be paid

Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

Favourite activities computer, enjoys tennis, table tennis etc., sensory experiences and socialising.

Pets in the household - you must be comfortable working with two dogs in the home.

Experience is required with knowledge of Autism and Makaton.

The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**

Recruiting for one

Guaranteed permanent position of 24 hours per week

**Days and times**:
Set shifts at set times

Wednesday, Thursday Friday: 8:15 4:30pm

**Hourly rate**:
£10.90 per hour
