**Head of Service - Safety & Assurance**

As our Head of Service for Safety and Assurance in Adult Services, you will lead the preparations for and responds to assurance activities in Adult Social Care as described in the Health and Care Bill (2021).

Your responsibilities include collating our self-assessment; identifying areas for improvement; and working with our leadership team to develop our oversight and accountability.

You will promote and embed the vision, principles and processes of the Workforce Quality Assurance Framework in relation to adult social care operational staff.

Our Head of Service for Safety and Assurance formulates the strategy and leads the business of the Swindon Safeguarding Partnership and Community Safety in line with legislation and guidance as directed by the Safeguarding Executive.

Your next role promotes the achievement of high quality, effective and efficient services for Swindon through scrutinising and managing performance to drive continuous improvements.

You will also manager the business across Swindon’s Safeguarding and Community Safety systems on behalf of the Swindon Safeguarding Executive (Swindon Borough Council, the Clinical Commissioning Group and Wiltshire Police) and Swindon’s Community Safety Partnership Board.

**Head of Service - Community Led Support**

As our Head of Service for Community Led Support in Adult Services, you will provide professional leadership and support to various Teams across Adult Services, contributing to the “whole authority” strategic management of the Council.

Your accountabilities include all aspects of the leadership, development, direction and delivery of service in relation to Adult Services including joint working and inter-agency co-operation. The posts promotes the achievement of high standards of performance against national, corporate and service specific performance measures.

You will promote and embed the vision, principles and processes of the Adult Quality Assurance Framework in relation to adult operational staff.

Our Head of Service for Adults supports the strategy of the Swindon Safeguarding Partnership and Community Safety in line with legislation and guidance as directed by the Safeguarding Executive.

Your next role promotes the achievement of high standards of performance against national, corporate and service specific performance measures.

You will also promote the achievement of high quality, effective and efficient services for Swindon Borough Council (SBC) through scrutinising and managing performance to drive continuous improvements.
