Staffplus Recruitment is currently recruiting for Forklift Labourer for our client based in Cambuslang.

Permanent Contractor position

Long established Industrial processing plant in Cambuslang

A current Forklift licence is essential however full training on the other aspects of the job will be provided

Machine Operating

Forklift Driving

Industrial cleaning / housekeeping

This position is a long term (3 + years) on going contract.

A Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential for this position.

Shift work required (4 on 4 off days and nights).

Pay rate - £13.00 per hour

Job Requirements:

- Operates equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
- Adjusts controls to regulate variables as per instructions

.Performs setup procedures to prepare systems for operation.
- Intake of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Notifies Shift Supervisor regarding equipment malfunctions.
- To comply with all health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Operating production equipment and ensuring highest quality working to SOP’s at all times.
- Providing forklift truck support for both transporting product and removing waste products to skips.
- Comply with company Quality Systems.
- Ensures smooth operation of bagging lines

.Re-packages, labels and weighs unused raw materials and disposes of waste at the end of the production run.
- Required to work in all areas of the site and the role involves a level of physical tasks over the plant geographic area e.g. bagging, FIBC filling, pallet building/rectification.
- Supporting general activities across the site
- Please note that some industrial cleaning and general housekeeping will be required

- Stock recording of material manufactured in area operator is working

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

- Forklift (required)
