Gillespie Recruitment are delighted to be currently helping recruit **a Youth Worker** for a charity based in Sunderland supporting disabled children and young people and their families

The role will include **delivering 4 youth groups sessions per week** and they are looking for casual staff to support the group delivery.

They are looking for someone with **a background in supporting disabled CYP**. The successful applicants must have demonstratable experience in delivering and organising suitable activities for disabled CYP.

**The main responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to**:

- To plan and deliver their Out of School activities for disabled children and young people.
- To be able to support the complex needs of disabled CYP.
- Supporting in the delivery and the preparation of activities.
- Ensure all activities are delivered to a safe and high standard
- Support the development of their vision by contributing to development and delivery plans.
- Model and lead the attitudes and practice which puts Health and Safety and Wellbeing as a high priority.
- Understand and follow all relevant policies and procedures.
