**Job Title**:Disability Cycling Session Lead (Wheels For All)

**Salary**: £50 per session (1 session weekly)

**Hours**: Part Time, Sundays 10:30 am - 1:30 pm (3 hours per week)

**Location**: Aylesbury, HP22 7BR

**Main Role**:
We are looking for an individual to lead our Wheels For All sessions. These are inclusive cycling sessions, with adapted cycles that cater for individuals with disabilities of all ages. Offering an accessible and creative way for people and their families to be active together, these sessions are open to all individuals. These sessions take place every Sunday at 11am - 1pm at the Kingsbrook School, Armstrongs Fields, Bierton, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP22 7BR. **Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for leading and managing cycling sessions tailored to individuals with disabilities.
- Ensure all sessions are inclusive, safe, and enjoyable for all participants.
- Build positive relationships with participants, their families, and caregivers.
- Conduct pre-session safety checks on all cycling equipment and facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance
- Work closely, support and provide mentorship to volunteers assisting with the sessions.
- Provide encouragement, support, and guidance to participants
- Gather feedback from participants to continually improve session quality.
- Responsible for opening up, closing down etc.

**Person Specification**

**Essential**:

- Be calm under pressure
- Committed to safeguarding and wellbeing of participants
- Be approachable and willing to contribute to a supportive environment

**Desirable**:

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in a sports or recreational setting.
- Relevant certification in sports coaching, physical education, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have leadership skills and project management experience
- Ability to motivate and inspire participants.
- First Aid and safeguarding qualification
