**Labourer job description**

We are looking for several labourers to work along with the team on many tasks. In the event industry - from working in the yard on general maintenance to the construction of rollercoasters - every day will be different.

You will be based at our main yard in Hucknall, accommodation & transport provided if travel is necessary.

**You will be responsible for a diverse number of tasks including**:

- Loading and unloading materials
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and repairing structures
- Working at height at times
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and fellow workers
- Ability to collaborate with other team members to complete projects on schedule
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure tasks are carried out efficiently and according to instructions

**Required Skills**:

- Physical strength, stamina and agility to perform manual labour for extended periods, often in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers
- Willingness to learn & travel
- Full training will be given but an ability to work at heights would be an advantage
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime if required on occasion to meet deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- No formal qualifications are required, previous experience in construction would be an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to load and unload frequently heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks is essential so you must be physically fit
- A valid driver's license is an advantage
- Ability to work in all weathers is essential
- Understanding of the importance of adherence to safety protocols
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Demonstrated commitment to punctuality and reliability
