Working within our growing Trust finance team, you will provide effective and efficient financial management support to our schools, guaranteeing efficient conduct of the Trust’s financial affairs and ensuring the Trust offers value for money.

You will confidently respond to queries from Headteachers on budget forecasting, variations, cash flow and collaborate with stakeholders using influencing skills to gain commitment and agreement to financial issues.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Visit HET schools to undertake regular review meetings with Headteachers/SBMs re budget forecasting, budget variations, cash flow and other relevant issues pertinent to the time of year
- Review and support the process of payroll reconciliation/forecasting in IMP (budget forecasting v actuals) for month end management accounts
- Support the schools in managing their depreciation records and fixed asset records
- Undertake Integrated Curriculum Financial Planning (ICFP) on a monthly basis for designated schools
- Produce a range of financial reports for designated schools e.g. scenario comparisons, multi-year summaries, forecasting
- Produce a termly business pack for designated schools in conjunction with the Headteacher/SBM

**THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- A L4+ qualification and/or relevant experience in an appropriate financial discipline e.g. accountancy, payroll, pensions administration, audit
- GGCE grade C/4 minimum in both English language and maths
- Experience of financial management in a medium to large organisation
- Experience of managing large and complex budgets
- Commercial awareness and ability to achieve value for money
- The ability to produce succinct written reports
