Are you passionate about Payroll? Do you have a knack for maintaining payroll records and ensuring timely payments? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our amazing Payroll team at Timpson House as a Payroll Advisor. You will be responsible for managing the payroll process for a diverse range of employees, calculating and processing monthly salaries, and contributing to the development of the payroll system. As a full-time employee, you will work Monday to Friday and report to the Head of Payroll. **Key responsibilities;**
- Processing the end to end monthly Payroll for 5000+ colleagues including manual calculations
- Responding to Escalated Payroll/tax queries
- Overseeing starters and leavers
- SMP, SSP, SAP and SPP calculations
- RTI reporting, including data validation, submitting FPS/EPS
- Pension Auto Enrolment - NEST
- Advising on and keeping the company in compliance to HMRC with changes in legislation and best practice
- Producing pay related reports to assist with payroll verification, analysis and statutory requirements
- Experience of transition projects with both payroll and time and attendance systems
- Ensuring accurate accounting of all payroll costs for the business as part of month end processes.
- Working with the Finance team to ensure Month and Year end deadlines are met with Journal and accounting wage reports.
- Inputting colleague expense claims where required
