A position has become available for an assembler packer, at our small family run Manufacturing company of Traffic Control and Parking Equipment.

**Please note,** this is a fast paced position with some heavy lifting.

You will be employed as a Multi Skilled Labourer and training will be given to the successful applicant in:
- Preparation of manufactured products before paint
- Assembly of all products
- Quality checking products before dispatch
- Packing of all products for delivery to our customers
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries

Responsibilities & Duties
- Overtime working may be required.
- Positive attitude to over time, especially when involving short notice.
- Must be able to work well on their own and also with others.
- Manage well under pressure to meet order despatch deadlines.
- Be responsible for the tidiness and control of your own working area.
- To work with minimum of supervision using own initiative once training has been completed

Your duties will be advised by the Office Manager. Your duties may be modified from time to time to suit the business needs.

**This position requires some heavy lifting so the successful applicant must be fit and able.**

Hours : Monday - Thursday 7:00am -5pm (45 minutes unpaid break)
Friday 7:00am - 12:45pm (15 minutes unpaid break)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Assembly: 1 year (preferred)
- Packing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Fork Lift (preferred)
