Equities Valuation Controller

Goodman Masson have partnered with a global Banking company to assist with their search for an experienced Equities Valuation Controller for an initial 12 month contract. The role is based in their London office 2 days per week and 3 days working from home.
The Global Valuations and Analytics Group is part of Global Product Control and undertakes four main activities: Valuations, Global Valuation Reporting, Quantitative Analysis and Quantitative Infrastructure Development.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the production includes: IPV, FVA and Prudent Valuation (PVA) balances, Methodologies and documentation; Monitoring model restrictions and recommendations & Levelling returns.
- Ensure Valuation FIM requirements and other applicable accounting / regulatory standards are met.
- Engagement with Equities core Product Control to ensure that the valuation conclusions are accurately reflected in the books and that the communication with the business is seamless and consistent.
- Liaise with key stakeholders
**Skills/Experience**
- Valuations and valuations framework experience - IPV, PVA calculations
- Knowledge of asset class is desireable
- Analytical background - highly essential
- Market risk experience
