Deutsche Bank’s Rates business leads with scale and strength in providing asset and liability solutions to institutional and corporate clients globally. We give clients access to the Bank’s liquidity and product expertise through our global sales, trading, and structuring teams, as well as our electronic trading channels.

Our product range includes fixed income securities, exchange traded funds and derivatives in interest rates, long dated FX, multi-asset correlation products and commodities.

The role will involve working closely with traders and interaction with various other teams including, but not limited to, sales, structuring, research, and control functions. You will work closely with a team of traders and be responsible for pricing, trading, and risk management.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Market Making and Risk Management of European Government Bonds (EGB)
- Providing liquidity and recycling risk profitably and further developing and enhancing the EGB franchise, including correlated products across markets
- Analysing market structure and the opportunities and threats there-in
- Managing financial risk and non-financial risks
- Interacting with clients, sales and internal counterparties in other trading, coverage, and structuring functions to increase market transparency and to generate new business
- Building a sustainable business and market share

**Your skills and experience**
- A strong understanding of the asset class
- A proven track-record in revenue generation and proven track-record in sustaining/generating high quality market share
- A deep understanding of capital and regulatory matters in bonds and derivatives. Able to understand and interpret market trends and identify, communicate, and market trade ideas
- Experience in the e-trading space for bonds and derivatives
- An excellent communicator (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a high paced environment under pressure. Proven risk management skills and strong quantitative skills
- Experienced with market-making in EGBs and correlated cash instruments
