**Embodied Carbon Consultant - To £35K Package Fully Remote Working (UK)**

Are you passionate about reducing the environmental impact of the built environment? Are you interested in developing your career in embodied carbon and regenerative building design?

Reporting Directly to one of the UK's most experienced experts when it comes to Life Cycle Assessments and Whole-Life Carbon Assessments you'll enjoy a fast paced, challenging, and rewarding role.

You'll be mentored to develop skills in LCA consulting for BREEAM, LEED and the London Plan and get involved in LCA verification of other consultants Life Cycle Assessments.

You'll liaise closely with architects and clients and ensure that life cycle assessments are integrated within the design team as early as possible and that all buildings they design promote a circular economy. As an embodied carbon consultant, you'll feel good that you are helping design buildings and spaces that not only are good for the planet and improve the occupants health and well-being, but are also regenerative.

Depending on the clients' preferences and budget, you'll use a variety of LCA software such as eTool, Lina, One Click LCA, Simapro or Sphera GaBi to carry out LCA (Life Cycle Assessments) and produce circular economy statements.

**Essential Requirements**
- Degree qualified in Structural Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Environmental Design and Engineering or Architectural and Environmental Engineering.
- Keen interest in embodied carbon, whole-life carbon, NZC building design.
- Awareness of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) of the typical materials use in construction.
- At least one year experience in a consulting role, ideally with some experience in carrying out Life Cycle Assessments.
- Interest or awareness in L.E.T.I, the UK Green Building Council and best practice, NZC building design.
