We have an opportunity for you to join the team working at one of our Primary schools where your dedication to the role will enhance the children’s learning environment.

Embsay primary School, Skipton BD23 6RH, is a friendly family orientated school where the children learn about good behaviour and respect to others. Working for North Yorkshire Council as a Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings.

Full training will be provided and the hours are 3.30pm to 8:30pm daily, with some flexibility on start and finish time and totalling to 25 hrs per week over 5 days. No weekend work For this you will be paid £11.59 per hour.

In addition to this you will also carry out caretaking duties of locking the site after cleaning, setting the alarm and ensuring the site is fully secure. For this we will pay you an additional £11.79 to £12.38 per hour based on 5 hrs per week. This will be carried out from 08:30pm to 09:30pm daily.
