**Job Title -** Fleet Analyst

**Job Location -** Luton, Leicester & Remote, 2/3 days in the office rest of the week remote

**Salary -** £30K - £35K

The primary function of this role is to provide detailed analysis of the rental fleet to the Head of Capacity and Utilisation and the wider business including the Senior Management Team.

Playing an integral part in leading the strategy to manage the Non-Operational Fleet and supporting a reduction in VOR (Vehicles Off Road), you will be a detailed, data driven individual, used to working with large amounts of complex data from multiple sourcesand formats with the ability to transpose data into meaningful and detailed performance reporting

A key analytical role within the organisation, with significant responsibility for delivering the detail required to influence the management of the Non-Operational Fleet and extensive scope to influence, develop and embed fleet management processes intothe day-to-day business activities.

**Main duties of the role**:

- Closely liaising with each work stream that underpins the NOF strategy, you will ensure that the data is readily available to record performance vs the agreed targets supporting the continuous improvement of the NOF reduction project.
- Carry out root cause analysis across all streams, provide insight into the reasons for performance results, identifying specific blockers, activities, or processes that either promote or prohibit the successful reduction of the NOF stock.
- Identify best practice across each stream and implement it to the wider business - understand variances in results and ascertain the causes and help to identify and implement remedy.
- Day to day activities will include reviewing the Non-Available stock; understanding where there are potential bottlenecks and escalating where appropriate in order to elevate any potential issues.
- Produce and update reporting either daily or as required for the daily management of the stock, as well as monthly summaries to the Senior Management Team and the wider business, detailing progress, blockers, and next steps.
- Support the Head of Capacity and Utilisation with the day-to-day management of the stock, deputising in their absence.

**Key skills required**:

- Excellent analytical and planning skills a high degree of business acumen
- Ability to summarise analysis in a concise manner using different mediums to illustrate key points
- Strong presentation skills to all levels of management and proven effective stakeholder management
- Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Google Workspace and Business Objects
- Attention to detail and organisational / planning skills are a must
- Unafraid to make and be responsible for decisions under pressure without supervision
- Quick learner, flexible and reactive to a changing environment and role over time
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively to meet tight deadlines and maintain a high standard of work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in using Lean Six Sigma or similar Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Effective communications, focussing on simple key messages, tailored to the audience
- Development of visual MI to support effective stakeholder communication.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Have analysis data and VLOOKUP’s, business objects or similar reporting tool, Pivot Table
