Deputy Room Leader

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Deputy Room Leader. As a Deputy Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting the leadership team in managing daily operations and providing excellent care for children in our nursery. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications:
A minimum of Level 3 CCLD is required for this role. References and an Enhanced DBS certificate will also be required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the leadership team in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery
- Provide supervision and guidance to staff members
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed

**Skills**:

- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Nursery Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Experience with Children: Understanding of child development and ability to engage with children of different ages
- Childcare Knowledge: Familiarity with best practices in childcare and early childhood education
- English Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Drive: Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
- Excellent Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff, and children
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

**Salary**: From £12.10 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
