Streetworks Coordinator

Our Client has a fantastic opportunity for a Streetworks Coordinator to join their team at their main office based in Rugeley, Staffordshire. Our client is fast becoming one of the UK's most reliable source of skilled engineers to assist in the installation of the Openreach Network.

The main responsibilities are to ensure Notices and Permits are in place for civils works, this includes, booking, opening, and closing permits, P4’s and reinstatement registrations, so a good understanding of these activities is a minimum requirement.
- Understanding of Street work’s Compliance
- Stopping and avoiding Fixed Penalty Notices
- Permitting experience (preferably 12 months at least)
- Understanding of the modification of permits
- Understanding of how to get permits granted
- Strong communication/ challenging skills
- Ensuring engineers are in line with Street works compliance

Our work is mostly on the Openreach Network for duct blockage clearances, although works will also include laying new duct and box building so knowledge of these works would be ideal. Applicants must be computer literate and diligent in their work.

The position is full time and would be 37.5 hours a week Monday - Friday.

We offer this position on salary along with a workplace pension and 28 days holiday per year including B/H’s, and paid overtime where needed.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
