Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for an experienced Transport Planner for a company based near York.

**The Role

You will be responsible for planning and organising resources (circa 25 LGV vehicles and 35 drivers) to deliver to internal and external customers, ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness, along with providing administrative support to the Transport Manager.Working closely with Drivers as well as wider departments, you will need to be an effective communicator and build positive relationships.

This is a challenging and demanding role, the ability to remain flexible and adaptable to changing demands is essential, as the role also provides out of hours support. Training will be provided.

**Skills and experience
- Experience of working in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent time management, results orientated and organised
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Outlook
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good understanding of transport industry compliance desirable.
