**EHCP CO-Ordinator (SEND)**
**Overview**:
EHCP Co-Ordinator / 3 Months (possibility of being extended) /Immediately available / London / Hybrid
My client, a fantastic organisation based in Morden, London are currently recruiting for an EHCP Co-Ordinator (SEND) to support the SEN Team Manager.
Within the role, you will be super organised and confident in working in a fast-paced environment
**Role & Responsibilities**:

- To lead on the statutory process of EHCP (Education Health and Care Plans) with particular reference to SEND, formulating and issuing the plans and to implement legislation arising from the Children and Families Bill
- To take responsibility to advise parents, schools, colleges, providers and settings; subsequently implementing SEND decisions, managing expectations, issues and arising disputes on these decisions
- To manage the whole assessment and placement process for Children and Young People with SEND to a high degree of quality, ensuring that assessment processes and completed within statutory deadlines
- Organise and attend meetings with other professionals concerning Children and Young People with Send, including annual and transition reviews as appropriate
**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Educated to a degree level or above and/or demonstrable equivalent relevant SEND experience
- Knowledge and experience of the SEN Code of Practice, current SEND processes and legislation, with understanding of the anticipated changes in legislation
- Experience and knowledge of working with Children & Young People with SEND and their families, carers in a professional capacity
- Ability to travel around the borough and further when service demands necessitate, representing SENDIS service and SEN Team as and when appropriate
**Package**:

- 3 month contract (possibility of it being extended)
- £280 per day (umbrella)
- 9am-5pm Monday - Friday
- Hybrid working
