**JOB DESCRIPTION - E-Commerce Picker & Packer**

**About Bulk Supermarket**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Principle Accountabilities**:

- Overseeing the fulfilment of orders, including picking, packing and delivery of items in a timely manner.
- Optimizing of end-to-end operations chain from procurement, deliveries strategies to monitoring contacts per order.
- Overseeing procurement of packaging material and looking at ways to reduce per unit packaging costs
- Developing a standardized procedure for operating activities that is scalable and can be used to train staff to be competent and compliant in record time.
- Developing a recruitment strategy that blends an optimal mix of full and part-time reserve staff to try match capacity with demand.
- Work with third party couriers to ensure our delivery charges are optimized to reflect the best costs for location, weight of items and
- Overseeing customer service requests, returns, refunds and ensuring customer experience is number one priority at all times
- Maintaining integrations between websites and integrations, liaising with IT manager and software providers when necessary
- Create systems and processes for all the above and ensure staff are sticking to them

Professional qualification/degree preferably in marketing
- A degree in supply chain management or related field would be looked at favorably
- Ecommerce fulfilment experience would be looked at favorably
- You are a confident individual that has no issues taking charge and delegating responsibility to people and keeping them accountable.
- Experience in using Microsoft Visio and/or Lucid Chart or understanding how to map processes
- Understanding of basic p/l
- You have worked in an environment where marginal or unit economic costs matter and you understand the importance of keeping costs as low as possible.
- You have experience in making data-driven decisions but can also make quick intuitive ones when needed.
- You enjoy a fast-paced environment
- You are experimental and a creative problem-solver. You value resourcefulness over resources
- You are ambitious and would be looking to take on a senior position with the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time/Part Time, Permanent

Pay: £10.64/Hour

Up to 10% bonus offered per annum based on performance

28 days holiday (including bank holidays) for full-time 40 hour position
