Job Title: Planner

Location: Leeds and surrounding areas

Salary / Benefits: £35,000 - £45,000

Hybrid working available

Company Information: Due to our strong current workload and future projects pipeline we are currently looking for talented and motivated Planner with a genuine passion for civil engineering and management of resources to join our Highways team.

To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Experience in the use of P6 planning software.
- Relevant experience in planning multi-disciplinary Highways projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of National Highways Project Control Framework (PCF).
- Knowledge and understanding of NEC4 Professional Services Contract (PSC).
- Good communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions.

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- A relevant professional qualification e.g. IEng, CEng, APMQ, MAPM or ChPP
- Experience in a similar position with previous experience working on highways or civil engineering projects

Role Information;
Collaboratively developing and maintaining a robust detailed project programme in accordance with the contract requirements.

Ensuring the programme captures the full scope and considers constraints and resources.

Identification of risks and opportunities, monitoring of critical path and key milestones.

Ensuring consistency in programmes across the Highways business.

Managing and mentoring colleagues, liaising with project team members.
