Working as part of a team to support the Trust wide rollout of the Atticus Inventory Management System (IMS), and the management of the support help-desk and stock maintenance.

Working as part of a team to support the Trust wide rollout of the Atticus Inventory Management System (IMS), and the management of the support helpdesk.

Support implementation of the Atticus IMS as required by the Project Team.

Undertake training and refresher training requirements for all users of Atticus IMS.

Liaise with Clinical Teams, Procurement, Materials Management and Distribution to ensure stock control is maintained and that stock is ordered and received on time and any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.

Assist the Atticus project team in the development and preparation of the overall project plan and help plan key workstreams in relation to the project.

Support the Atticus project team and departments in the preparation of data sets (items, SKUs, users) prior to go-live including performing stock audits to capture all items within an area, through scanning and manual data capture, entering all data into templates within Microsoft Excel and being able to recognise different medical products.

Support the Atticus project team and departments in undertaking a range of stock level analysis and support departments to set levels for re-order points and re-order quantities and gain approval of these levels prior to go-live.

Support the Atticus project team, department champions and super users in the preparation of storage areas prior to go-live including performing storeroom tidying and labelling, mapping items on the shelf and checking that barcodes are cross referenced to items correctly.

Support go-live preparations; prepare communications and posters, provide end user training and floor walking support if required.

Undertake early life support to newly implemented departments including regular stock counts to ensure stock levels are maintained until processes are bedded in and the Atticus project team have handed over to the department for business as usual.

Undertake periodic stock counting when required on an on-going basis to gauge how well departments are complying with defined and agreed processes.

Support the Trust to use the system to its optimum potential through offering advice, guidance and support as appropriate liaising with staff ranging from Healthcare Assistants to Ward Managers and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved to the Atticus project team.

Review issues raised by users, gather evidence/data/information relating to the issue, analyse and interpret a range of facts to resolve the issue and propose options/solutions to the Atticus project team for consideration and/or implementation.

Continually develop and improve knowledge of Atticus IMS to promote best practice, processes and behaviours in the use of the IMS. Propose changes to practises/procedures based on this increased knowledge and user feedback where appropriate.

On occasions cover for the Trust’s Materials Management team, which involves receipting orders within various departments and put-away of the orders into the correct locations.

Perform any other tasks that are allocated by the Atticus project team.
