Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality pet products, dedicated to promoting pet health and well-being. With a strong commitment to excellence, they take pride in producing nutritious and delicious products that animals love. As they continue to expand and grow our product offerings, we are seeking a Production Planner to play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and drive results.
- Previous experience in production planning or scheduling within the food manufacturing industry is preferred.

As the Product Planner it will be your job to:

- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimise production efficiency.
- Collaborate with the production team to create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials and packaging.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan for seasonal promotions and new product launches.
- Identify and resolve any production bottlenecks or issues that may arise.
- Analyse production data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and reports.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production plans with overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
