**Sustainability Associate**

Our client organise and run international exhibitions and trade fairs and they have a vacancy for a Sustainability Associate on a temporary contract. It will be based in their Richmond offices.

You should passionate about creating measurable positive change for the environment and sustainability.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collect, input and analyse scope 3 emissions data from our shows globally to further develop our carbon emissions model.
- Conduct an end to end analysis of emissions from two to three shows to include emissions from energy consumption, logistics, production, catering and freight.
- Build the report to collect data in a third-party carbon reporting tool
- Support the Global Sustainability Council’s workstreams on measurement, reduction and communications.
- Stay on top of changes in legislation, industry standards, industry achievements.
- Support the business with sustainability-focused reporting, & calculation of progress towards key Sustainability KPIs and targets.
- Document project scopes, drive communication to stakeholders.
- Track and manage dependencies to unblock partnership development, anticipating roadblocks and escalating when needed.
- Set and drive agendas for meetings, ensuring action items are followed up on and plans are communicated across teams.
- Experienced and competent at using Excel
- Ability to understand and analyse data
- Degree in sustainability or strong understanding of carbon reporting/accounting
- Some corporate experience or experience of working on carbon accounting/reporting
- Able to demonstrate a passion for a sustainability related / Corporate Responsibility field
- Excellent written and confident verbal communication
- Accurate attention to detail
- Team player
- Excellent multi-tasker

(_The equvalent anual salary will be £30,000 to £35,000)_
