**Job summary**:
From 01 April 2023 the Defence Fuels Acquisition Programme and the Defence Strategic Fuels Authority will combine to become the new Operational Energy Authority (OEA). The OEA is responsible for the Dir Sp Ops fuel outputs including future projects, management of business as usual procurement activity and delivery of Fuel, Lubricants and Associated Products (FLAPs) support provided by the Petroleum Depot.

From the 1st April 2023, Defence Fuels Acquisition Programme (DFAP) will transfer from Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) to UK Strategic Command to form the OEA. As a result your employment terms will reflect the advert, and your employment will be with MoD Main UK Strategic Command from this date.

The primary function of the Supply Control and Accounts (SC&A) Clerk 2 is to efficiently and effectively manage the stock account by processing receipts and demands to ensure that products are received by the customer units on time.

The SC&A Clerk 2 is to be qualified in the regulations governing the movement of dangerous goods by all modes of transport.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:
1. Operation of the Warehouse Management System, including input for receipt, issues, management of storage locations and account adjustments as necessary in preparation for the production of Supply Invoice (SIV) and receipt paperwork.

2. Activating twice daily customer demand process to produce SIV in advance of stock selection and transportation and completion of any associated SIV requirements on Business Objectives.

3. Management and monitoring of high priority demands in accordance with Defence Policy including the production of SIV in advance of stock selection, packaging and transportation.

4. Completion of MoD Form 640 as required and forwarding to the Payment Team for payment action.

5. Operation of a helpdesk facility for demand progression general enquires and VITAL tracking.

6. Maintenance of the SIV archive including filing and file creation.

7. Preparation of loading plan for ISO Container out load in liaison with PT where necessary and container loading team. The production of SIV for ISO Container out load as per the load plan.

8. Monitoring and notification of packed fuel demands exceeding 200 x Jerricans to HQ Army FD Sp Fuels for authorisation.

Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Where a Discrenpancy Report (DR) has been raised, conduct an investigation and formulate an initial response and submit findings to the SC&A Mgr for consideration.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Any other duties designated by the Supply Control and Accounts Manager.
