**Room Attendant**

The Northfield Hotel is located on the outskirts of the beautiful fishing town of Minehead, Somerset. Set within 2 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, this 3* property with 30 bedrooms is open year-round servicing leisure guests, locals and groups alike. We have a fabulously close-knit team who love to work together. We also boost stunning views from our elevated position from the coast to the Quantocks, Brendon Hills and indeed Exmoor itself.

Location: The Northfield Hotel, Northfield Road, Minehead, Somerset, TA24 5PU

**Salary**: TBD

Your role:

- Greeting guests and responding to queries.
- Changing bed linen and making beds.
- Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Vacuuming carpets.
- Dusting and polishing furniture.
- Emptying trash containers and ashtrays.
- Restocking beverages and food items in the mini bar.
- Cleaning public areas, such as corridors.
- Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
- Updating status of guest rooms on assignment sheet.
- To maintain the high standards of cleanliness.
- To provide and promote a welcoming, friendly, personal and professional service.
- To ensure all guest expectations are reached and always exceeded.
- To control the security of the hotel and Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence.
- Support your colleagues and assist coaching new starters through their probation periods.
