Estates & Facilities Services Directorate is responsible for delivering a full estates and facilities management service to the University, including property maintenance, planned maintenance and renovation, cleaning, security, caretaking and facilitating spaces for our staff and students.

**What will the role involve**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Engineering Support Officer to join our team and help us achieve our long-term plans We are looking for someone with previous administrative and Estates & Facilities experience, you will undertake a wide range of duties to support the managers and staff within the University Engineer’s Team. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that all administrative processes underpinning, engineering, long term maintenance projects processes and procedures, asbestos and legionella documents are regularly updated and are effectively implemented and managed.

Whilst working on your own initiative in the main but also as a team, your exceptional skills will shine through in this role. **But this is not everything** - This role will give you the opportunity to work with other departments, external consultants and contractors and to drive the successful delivery of small to large sized projects that fall under the long term maintenance strategy. You would be a key contact and interface between relevant parties both internal and external on behalf of the University Engineer
