Brooklands is based in Nottingham and has been trading for 8 years, the company is rapidly expanding. Brooklands specialises in industrial cleaning and facilities support services, for national construction companies, councils, universities, schools, businesses, and facilities management companies throughout the midlands and across the UK.
We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join the team, Brooklands head office is based in Nottingham NG7 area with parking to the front of the building.
This role is office based working 7am until 3:30pm 5 days per week (8 hour shift with 30-minute break). The role requires sharp focus on details and commitment to working to drive the business through high standards and hard work. The office manager will have a thorough understanding of the importance of strong communication, written and verbal, and attention to detail in all aspects of the business.
- Overview of responsibilities;_
- Planning and scheduling industrial cleaning works.
- Calculating labour and material costs for each job undertaken by the team.
- Making morning calls with the technicians to ensure they are on site and the work ahead for the day is accessible and can go ahead and dealing with issues as they arise.
- Carrying out stock takes for both the office and warehouse and placing orders with suppliers, also accounting for stock and equipment leaving and being returned to the warehouse by technicians.
- Recording hours worked, holidays and sickness for the technicians.
- Supporting the office with general administration.
- Essential skills;_
- 3 years minimum within a similar role with demonstrated scheduling experience.
- Highly competent in office 365 systems (word, excel, share point).
- Excellent communication, written and verbal.
- Ability to speak confidently on the phone to workmen.
- Exceptional planning and organisation skills.
- Always demonstrating professional conduct, behaving with integrity and commitment to the brand values of the business.
