**About us**

We are agile, demanding, challenging and our goal is to continue our success in the food industry and provide a reliable transport solution using our own trucks. This will be collecting our own trailers from a couple of ports around the UK. This job is a multidrop role at numerous RDC's throughout the country. This will include 4 nights out.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods to specified destinations throughout the UK.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload cargo from the truck using appropriate equipment
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues that may arise
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe and efficient transportation of goods

**Requirements**:

- Valid DCPC
- Valid C+E driving licence with a min of 6 points. No DR10's.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including nights out and weekends if required
- Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations is preferred but not required as training can be given.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo as needed

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £750.00 per week
