Inventory Controller

**Overview**
The Inventory Controller role is responsible for updating and maintaining accurate stock inventory. They incumbent need to be conscientious, have a strong attention to detail and be able to work under their own initiative and in collaboration with other stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the day-to-day stock control and inventory operations.
- Plan and prioritise inventory processes and audit to agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock integrity.
- Investigate any discrepancies highlighted as priority.
- Keep detailed records and be proficient in using Microsoft office and other IT equipment and programs.
- Engage regularly with key stakeholders, making them aware of changes to stock numbers, so customers can be kept informed if there is an impact to outbound orders.
- Be able to work in a safe manner and follow company policies, processes, and procedures at all times.
- Be comfortable in understanding and delivering business performance targets and KPIs.
- Be able to complete and present reports on a daily, weekly, and periodic basis, where requested.

- Strong safety awareness.
- Previous experience in an inventory / stock control centred role.
**Desirable**
- Current forklift licence a plus, training can be provided.
**Salary**: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
