Inflite Engineering have an exciting opportunity for a **CNC Setter/ Operator **to join their team based in Stansted, Essex.

Inflite Engineering Services Ltd are one of the UK’s larger and most accomplished manufacturers of machined and fabricated detailed parts from most types of metals, hard and soft.

**Job Purpose**:To set up and operate CNC machines ensuring all throughput meets quality expectations, technical requirements and within the desired timeframe

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Where required, programme machines in line with technical information provided
- Set up the tooling required to produce parts
- Carry out first off inspection to ensure parts meet quality and technical requirements specified before submission to quality
- Run product batches to technical requirements
- Have a desire to improve and develop a better manufacturing process
- Check dimensions prior to passing for Inspection
- Adhere to health and safety requirements
- Working multiple machine tools when required and run times allow (_+bonus pay_)
- Comply with quality and regulatory standards
- Maintain machine operator maintenance schedule and area cleanliness
- Work with engineering and the quality team to improve all aspects of the manufacturing process
- Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company

**CNC Operator - **Skills and Experience Required:

- Proven experience in a CNC Setter/Operator role using 3/4/5 axis machines
- Experience of Multi pallet.
- Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens Hurco and Mazatrol experience is desirable
- Previous Aerospace experience would be advantageous
- Must be able to program/set and operate machine
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to work to tight tolerances
- Ability to use measuring equipment (Vernier callipers, bore micrometres etc.)
- Capable of using equipment for loading heavy billets
- Health and safety conscious
- Focussed with attention to detail
- Familiar with working on Aluminium, Steel and Titanium billet
