**Experience**:
Essential: Must have at least 2 years experience of being a medical Healthcare Assistant working in Primary Care or Secondary Care.

Desirable: Experience of working in a GP practice

**Main Duties and Responsibilities (according to training and qualifications)**:

- Phlebotomy
- Urine Testing
- Blood Pressure Checks
- Setting up, fitting and downloading information - 24 hr Blood Pressure Machine
- Weight Monitoring
- ECG recording
- B12 injections
- Flu injections
- Dressings
- Removal of Sutures
- Part 1 Diabetic Checks
- Health checks
- Assisting doctor with Minor Operations

**Other Duties and Responsibilities**

Processing lab samples requested by GPs/Nurses.

Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording

Ensure infection control guidelines are maintained

Assisting nurses with any regular and ad hoc clinics as required including flu clinics

To ensure that all consultations are recorded timely and accurately on the system

To perform other clinical tasks as trained

**Job Type**: Part-time - 20HRS
