**Your Role**:
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a H&S Specialist to join the team within our Irvine site. The main role of the H&S Specialist will be to Conduct regular safety plant tours to identify and drive EHS improvement initiatives. Support departments to produce, review, update and approve risk assessments. Create, review, and amend EHS related policies and procedures as required. Conduct and support EHS incident investigations and reporting. Provide H&S support to improvement projects where required. Identify applicable legislation, assessing requirements for site and providing advice when non-conformance is identified.

**Who You Are**:

- Support the delivery of emergency response drills.
- Support the site Environmental Program.
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex legislation and implement in a pragmatic and concise manner.
- Adopt a pro-active H&S approach through influence rather than direct authority.
- Adopt a pro-active H&S approach
- Ability to prepare concise and factual reports
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to manage a complex workload
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment
- Develop recommendations or corrective actions and assist management in implementing the recommendations in an effective manner.
- Drive implementation of company EHS principles, policies and procedures to provide for a safe and secure working environment.
