Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Foggs Farm, Hobbs Lane, Claughton-On-Brock, Preston, PR3 0QN

**Salary**: £35,000

**What you’ll be doing**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator who is responsible for planning, organising and implementing the company’s logístical processes. Oversee all materials arriving and departing from our sites. This role has overall responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of all transport operations across the business, associated systems, paperwork and transport legislation, including managing relationships and ongoing stock control with our paper mill supply partners.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Monitoring stock levels and manage orders to ensure that products are available

when needed
- Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure our premises are suitable for

the logistics operation needs (capacity, layout, signage, and H&S)
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements such as U8.
- Continually strive for the most competitive transport rates
- Anticipate and plan Logistics organisation and sizing to sustain the future growth of

the business and bring Logistics to the next level
- Collaborating with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and production, to

ensure that logistics operations are aligned with business goals.
- Visiting paper mills periodically to check paper crumb quality, strengthen

relationships with Operatives 'on the ground' and identify any continuous

improvement.
- Assist with the consolidation of all product manufacturing lines at Foggs Farm and

subsequently overseeing all product inventory management.

**Role Requirements**
- Logistics or supply chain qualification is desirable
- 5+ years experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with changing priorities and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Able to follow-up and give status updates on open issues and tasks
- Highly adaptable and flexible to accept new ideas, people and

procedures
- Highly organised and detail oriented
- Commercial awareness and pragmatic approach
