We are pleased to share our excellent opportunity for a Customer Care Operative looking for a rewarding career to join us, based around our North Thames region. Working within the Customer Care team, your key role will be to represent the company to customers and purchasers of our private new homes carrying out remedial works and other maintenance works across assigned residential development sites, ensuring these are carried out within designated timeframes.

**About the role**

To represent the Company with purchasers of private and affordable homes carrying out works and repairs agreed with purchaser after legal completion, and ensuring all defects are completed within the agreed timeframe.
- Ensuring that all Customer Care functions conform to Croudace Safety Policy, meet safety legislation and all other relevant codes of practice, stopping immediately any operation/task/function if safety of self or others is likely to be compromised.
- Read, understand and comply with the procedures as set out for the Customer Care Department.
- Provide assistance in dealing with reported defects in occupied properties. Defects will be reported to Head Office Customer Care Co-ordinators and the relevant jobs will be relayed to the Customer Care Operative to complete. Ensure completion of works within the five day timeframe as set out in Company procedures and to the mutual satisfaction of both the customer and the Company.
- Assist in dealing with the maintenance of show houses.
- Maintain any stock units to the required Company standard.
- Where possible, materials required for repairs are to be taken from existing site stocks, otherwise liaise with Head Office Customer Care Co-ordinators to order replacement materials, and ensure they are available by the date agreed with the customer.

**About You**:

- Previous experience of working within a similar role within the residential housing industry, or a trade background or similar is desirable.
- Good all round knowledge of house maintenance, which could include gas, heating, plumbing, decorating or carpentry is desirable
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels both internally and externally but with a particular customer focus.
- Strong organisational, timekeeping and attention to detail skills
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
