Under the supervision of the Recruitment Manager, this role will be responsible for high quality recruitment.

The role will participate in, provide support to and co-ordinate any people related organisation wide schemes which the Council may support.

The role will advise managers on recruitment services and solutions for the organisation. In addition to the main recruitment activities outlined above, the role may involve primary responsibility for one or more of the following areas:

- Managing the day-to-day operation of the council’s recruitment applicant tracking system

Providing metrics / management information - Overseeing day-to-day operational support for the council’s system for agency staff

Supervision of Recruitment Administrators

Lead for the council’s obligations in relation to the Disclosure and Barring Service

Lead for the council’s visa sponsorship for overseas workers to work in the UK
